ESTHER MANITO (UK)

Esther Manito is a British-Lebanese stand-up comedian known for her sharp observations, self-deprecating hur and hilarious stories about identity, family and everyday life.

‍

Since breaking onto the UK comedy scene, she has become a regular on the British comedy circuit, with award-winning solo shows, sold-out tours and appearances on Live at the Apollo, The Stand Up Sketch Show and various BBC productions.

‍

Her comedy effortlessly connects personal experiences with bigger social themes, without ever losing sight of the laughs.

‍

Expect smart, warm and seriously funny stand-up from one of the most distinctive voices in British comedy.

JESSICA CARE MOORE (US)

Jessica Care Moore is an award-winning poet, writer, musician, publisher, activist and cultural curator from Detroit.

‍

Her work has taken her to stages around the world and into collaborations with artists including Nas, Common, The Last Poets and Jose James.

‍

Her children’s book Your Crown Shines was selected by Oprah Winfrey as one of her books to read again and again.

‍

As Detroit’s current Poet Laureate, and a recipient of the Joyce Award, Kresge Fellowship and a US Poet Laureate Fellowship, Moore uses her voice to connect art, education and social change.

Expect a powerful performance where poetry, music and activism come together.

SWATKINS & MOOREA MASA (US)

Swatkins and Moorea Masa bring a unique blend of soul, funk and musical storytelling to the stage.

Swatkins is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer and talkbox master, known for his years of collaborations and tours with artists including Allen Stone and Scary Pockets.

‍

Portland-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Moorea Masa has been making music from an early age, drawing inspiration from her diverse cultural background and the rich musical scene of her hometown.

‍

Together, they create a warm and dynamic live performance where voice, groove and musicianship come together.

ROGIER BAK (NL)

Rogier Bak is a Dutch stand-up comedian from Amsterdam with a unique perspective on the differences between the Netherlands and the United States.

‍

Raised in the US before moving back to the Netherlands, he uses his position as an outsider to explore culture, language and identity through sharp observations, satire and storytelling.

‍

His comedy videos on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube have gone viral, earning him a growing international audience. Since 2016, he has performed at comedy venues in the Netherlands and abroad, including as a support act for international comedians.

‍

Expect energetic storytelling, spot-on impressions and a fresh take on the absurdities of everyday life.

NADINE FROUGHI (NL)

Nadine Froughi is a stand-up comedian who is half Iranian, half American, grew up in the UK and is now largely based in the Netherlands.

‍

She combines stand-up comedy with music and visual elements to create a live experience her mother once described as “fantastic”.

‍

She appeared in NTR’s Ramadan Bites and was twice a finalist in the English Comedy Talent Award.

Nadine lives and works in Amsterdam.

ABOUT ‘NUFF SAID

For the past 18 years, ‘Nuff Said has brought together comedy, music, poetry and spoken word on stages across Belgium and the Netherlands.

‍

What started in Antwerp has grown into a travelling format with shows in Genk, Turnhout, Leuven, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

‍

Every edition features a fresh line-up and a different mix of established and emerging voices.
